Dan Lu's Nigerian visit has been trending on social media after he was spotted at that country's celebrity hangout, O’jez in Surulere, alongside his record label, Sisqo Productions owner, Christopher Tochukwu Nwaogwugwu, based in South Africa. The Part-of-Life hit maker who came into limelight with a song, Shupie, told foreign online publications that he chose to collaborate with Kcee following the rising profile of the ‘Limpopo’ crooner in his country. “Kcee is making a lot of noise in my country. He’s the right man to start with. I know we have other big artistes including , Psquare, 2face, Don Jazzy, Ice Prince, but I chose Kcee because he plays the same kind of music with me,” Dan Lu said. Disclosing his mission in Nigeria, Dan Lu said, collaborating with Kcee will not only impact on his career as a musician, but also, it will help to raise the profile of his record label. He believes his Malawian fans will welcome the collaboration, saying Nigerian music is currently ruling the airwaves in Malawi. Dan Lu's collaboration with Nigerian artists will not be a surprise as lately he started fusing Nigerian elements in his music especially in his latest album Sorry. And the development will surely be welcomed by many music pundits as it will help to expose Malawian urban music currently struggling to get international recognition.
