South African based Malawian gospel sensation Onesimus Muzik (real name Armstrong Kalua) has announced a surprise release of his single Open Letter via Malawi Music Website.

Speaking to Nyasa Times, the artist said he decided to drop the single to reach out to his old friends to turn to God.
“Am a minister of the gospel. I have ministered to a lot of people over the years since I become born again, but realised I haven’t done enough for my close friends. Now I believe it’s time to preach direct to all my close friends,” explained Onesimus.
This comes barely few hours after the artist wrote a long post to his old Nde’feyo signee Piksy, asking him to stop attacking him for being born again.
However, Onesimus refuted the claim that the new single is entirely directed at the Unamatamata hit maker.
“Am not talking about Piksy as an individual in the song. Am simply putting a message straight to all my friends, he is in the pool of friends and they are a lot, he is not alone.
“ I have addressed the issue in mention with Piksy and its time to move on, we can’t dwell on the issue for so long, if they have time, I don’t. My time is for my God and am doing all I can to get my album out, these are simply one of those things,” he said.
Of late, Piksy has been on the record attacking Onesimus for openly supporting Prophet Shepherd Bushiri’s ministry.
According to Piksy, Onesimus is so wrong to follow the Man of God that he should rather give up the things of God and go back to their old style of living.
