Kasipa, 37, and the three others were arrested on Wednesday last week in connection with an alleged illegal firearm.
One of those arrested is a 52-year old Korean Noh Young, who was allegedly found in possession of the said illegal firearm.
The Korean, according to police, is the one who upon interrogation named the other accused including Kasipa.
On Monday, Kasipa being represented by lawyer Lusungu Ngondwe, pleaded not guilty to the charge of possession of illegal firearm when he appeared before Principal Resident Magistrate, Innocent Nebi.
The three others also denied the charge.
The court granted them bail after providing two sureties each. The sureties have been bonded at K200,000 cash each.
Kasipa, according to police document, surrendered himself to police on Wednesday 20th January, 2016 after being tipped-off that he was wanted by the law-enforcers.
However, contrary to earlier media reports, police documents indicate that Kasipa was not in possession of any firearm and no police search were made at his house.
The alleged illegal firearm was found in the hands of Noh Young, the documents further indicate.
Meanwhile, police are still investigating the matter.
Apart from Kasipa and Young, the other suspects are 37-year old Mike Dalitso and Stain Chidothi, 37.
Kasipa is famed for the hit ‘Dale Wangayo’ song which he did with Njati Njedede.
