Social media is having a field day with pictures of “Mwano” rapper Martse, who was allegedly beaten at the National Resources College (NRC) over the weekend.

Facts: Easter brings people together to celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and the celebrations can get wild.
According to sources, Martse, who few weeks ago returned from the USA where he had a series of shows, bought drinks and invited friends, both guys and girls.
Drinks go down with meat, and some college guys within the group suggested they buy a goat and they agreed to chip in K8,000.
They bought the goat, however greed interfered. It has been established that someone stole the meat.
Details are still sketchy, it has not been yet established who stole the meat but a big conundrum ensued.
Somehow, Martse was asked to pay back the K8,000 in a barrage of insults, a thing which he did to just calm the situation down, as disclosed by the source.
In trading insults, Martse’s mom was mentioned in very vulgar language, a situation that did not go down well with the “Mwapidulanji” rhymer and brawls erupted.
When we reached out to Martse for comment on the issue, the artist refused to give details.
However he said God will defend him, adding that people will still talk about it regardless.

Meanwhile, Martse has confirmed that he will drop a tribute song to the late Grace Chinga this week.
Various online media outlets have been posting about a tribute from the artist, who also did a song titled “Grace Chi”.
