The musician told Malawi News Agency that the release date has delayed in the past due to some hiccups which he has faced along the way but explained it was almost done.
“A lot of people do not understand what the musical market is compared to back in the days so for example my dancers were quite expensive, they had very high expectations from me hence the high charges.
“I can say that I am no longer doing music in the name of business but to keep my name in the game because even piracy levels are very high we are hardly benefiting from our sweat,” explained the musician.
He also bemoaned lack of corporation from most radio Djs saying; “We are not in good terms with most of them because they also do not understand that musicians are not making as much as they were doing in the past which hinders promotion because for them to play our music they also want something in return.”
The artist then sent a strong message to his fans saying despite all the hardships he has faced throughout the project, he promises that this DVD is the best compared to any of his old ones and that he has tried to put more powerful songs for the fans to enjoy.
He added: “I never take the support my fans give me for granted. I respect them and they will not regret the DVD.”
He has featured one upcoming artist in the DVD namely Honorato Pandakwao to promote him and it was shot by Don Clis da singer and Inde Man Ritchie who are under his recording company.
He released his debut album Ndimasilira in 2005 and his other albums are Biriwita, Sewere, Udzaleka, Khwekhwelere and Kwawilira Ku Maliketi.
