Banda said this is in response to a long time plea from his followers who have all along demanded a collection of his gospel tracks.
"Good news to you all. For a long time, most of my fans who like my gospel songs have been pleading with me to put all gospel tracks in one CD. I am pleased to say I am working on that and I will just add one or two songs to make it a complete new package," Banda posted on his Facebook timeline.
Soldier as he is fondly called in the music circles has however given his fans a chance to choose their favourite tracks they wish to be included.
"Please help me in choosing your favourite gospel track from my album," said Banda.
Banda, who launched his music journey in the 1980's with assistance from his brother Paul, released his first album Son of a poor man in the early 1990's.
In almost all of his albums, Banda has always included a gospel track.
Some of the popular gospel tracks of all time include Samuel, Ndakonzeka, Pharaoh, Tsiku lobwera Yesu among others.
He has over 17 albums to his credit.
Some of the albums he has released include Cease fire, Take Over, Yahwe, Not Easy Lord, Survivors, Life, Enermy, Life, Cell 51 and Thank You.
In Cell 51, he narrated the hard times he went through during and after his arrest by the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) in 2006 while in Thank You, it was all about giving thanks to Malawians for the support rendered to him since he launched his music career.
