Gospel songbird Maggie Mangani  to launch ‘Mundiyendere’ album in Lilongwe

Gospel artist Maggie Mangani, who has been spicing up several concerts recently, now  want to stage her own show  to launch album titled Mundiyendere scheduled to take place at Sheaffer ICA Marque in Lilongwe on 1st May. [caption id="attachment_108221" align="alignright" width="276"]Maggie Mangani Maggie Mangani[/caption] This is Mangani’s third album since she came on the limelight in 2006 when she released her first album titled Zatha Zonse. Speaking in an interview Maggie Mangani said she is more than prepared to give people the best saying rehearsals are currently underway. “it’s been long but now the time is here, I am ready ,currently am doing rehearsals and all I can say is to promise my fans to come in large number to watch the best live performances on 1st May,” she said. She said the show will be one of its best and that she cannot afford to disappoint her fans but rather putting up the best. During the launch she will be supported by Allan Chirwa, Favoured Martha, Violet Tengani Dumba, Lloyd Phiri, King James Phiri, Kamuzu Barracks Gospel Singers, Ethel Kamwendo and Maxwell Olotto among others. Recorded by Joseph Tembo at Groove Magic Studios, some of the songs in the album are Kuli moyo, zidzayendanso, Mwandiiwalitsa, Mukhale okondedwa Wanga and Fungatireni among others and she has also used well established musicians like Allan Chirwa and Sam Maliza who have featured songs  like ali mom’mo and you’re the Lord Respectively.
