Against All Odds charity to raise funds for disadvantaged women and children in Malawi during UK gala dinner

Against All Odds Still Standing (AOS) UK 2016 Anniversary Fundraising Gala Dinner returns for its third anniversary celebration on April 30th at the Hilton Dartford Bridge in Kent, United Kingdom to raise towards the AOS’s beneficiaries and its charitable operations both in the UK and Africa from 1800hrs till late. Dare to Fly! Make it Count! Comes after AOS received an ‘International Recognition Award’ at the Malawi Achievers Awards UK organised by Malawi Association UK. The Anniversary celebration, which will be broadcast live by Oasis Universal Radio will be hosted by online broadcaster and host of the Steve Chijota show, MC Chijota alongside resident MC Suki of Against All Odds Still Standing Charity. After two fantastic seasons of unparalled success of fundraising anniversary celebrations, AOS will this year be taking yet another giant leap forward to its annual event. Its mission of multicultural arts promotion, ethnic diversity and positive image still remains strong as it continues to fund-raise for the disadvantaged children in Malawi and the broken hearted who have been the victims of domestic violence and abuse. AOS aims to raise awareness of the plight of women and children where abuses and inequalities are,  according Fikelephi Jackson, Founder and CEO of Against All Odds Still Standing ‘’Our vision is to reach the broken hearted who have been victims of domestic violence and abuse.  We geared to see people’s lives healed and restored by assisting them to discover their true purpose, says Mrs Jackson. “Make it Count by sponsoring one of our 60 Students in Malawi. We also have Women's Empowerment Centres in the Districts of Ntcheu and Chikwawa. So Come and be a part of the solution. We have been working around the clock to ensure you have an unforgettable night,’’ says Fikelephi Jackson who has also authored a book ‘Against All Odds I survived’ This year’s Dare to Dream! Dare to Fly! Make It Count! Fundraising Dinner Ball will provide an exquisitely sizzling 3 course meal, live entertainment and performances by the multi-award winning Malawian/Irish rap artist, Pop Dogg. Also featuring highly on the night will be performances by the South African Gospel Superstar, Sis Maneli, The Marvellous Anointed UK and Singer and Songwriter Bella Jackson. Throughout the evening there will be great entertainment, such as poetic drama, Fashion Show by Sheila’s Designs, Red Carpet photography by Rainbowsmiles Photography, Auction and Raffle Prize – giving. Then of course time for the DJ to let loose patrons with a variety of great music to dance the night away. Like never before, this year’s event is expected to attract a large patronage and prominent people across the United Kingdom contributing towards the good cause and will also feature a couple of renowned guest speakers. Since its inception the UK based non-profit organisation is deeply rooted to providing support, relief needs and is geared to empower victims and survivors in partnerships with other organisations to rebuilding lives and restoring hope. ‘’Our event last year was a huge success. And without indiduals and organisations’ support, we wouldn’t have been able to achieve this,’’ noted Mrs Jackson, saying ‘’ we have increased the figures and have more scholarships besides the women that are receiving practical support from us every year.
