Malawi’s female gospel artist Chrissie Kamthunzi is set to entertain Blantyre resident on Sunday at Robins Park, when she will launch her eighth album entitled ‘Angathe’.

Kamthunzi, who has been quite in as far as performing music for the past five years will be backed by Malimba Band.
Other artists, who will spice up the launch include veteran Eliza Kachali Kaunda, Wycliffe Chimwendo, Ethel Kamwendo Banda, Allan Ngumuya and Ndirande Anglican Voices.
Kamthunzi has urged Malawians, especially people from Blantyre and surrounding areas to come in their large numbers insists they will not be disappointed.
“I am more than ready to bounce back on stage after a long time. My message to all my fans is that come Sunday the place to be should be Robins Park from 1:30pm,” she said.
As Kamthunzi will be entertaining Blantyre, people from Lilongwe have not been forgotten as another gospel artist Maggie Mangani is also expected to launch her latest album called Mundiyendere at Sheaffer ICA Marque.
Some of the artists to spice up Maggie’s launch include Favoured Martha, Lloyd Phiri, Violet Dumbah and King James Phiri. The launch will start at 12pm.
After Mangani’s launch in the afternoon, Lilongwe resident will trek to Bingu International Conference Centre from 6pm to grace another launch of a secular musician Lulu.
Lulu will be launching his new album Mwayenera and other artists to spice up his show include Edgar and Davis and Diktator.
